Strangeworld [1993] L-R: Kylan - Marc - Richard - Paul

Strangeworld - Huh?

The 30th Anniversary Edition!

In October 1994, a young rock band from the UK travelled to Germany to record an album for Mausoleum Records.

They formed in 1990 fresh from school and spent the next few years playing the local circuit, before progressing to London support shows at The Rock Garden, The Mean Fiddler & The Marquee!

Labeled ‘Power Rock’ our sound blended classic Pop influences with our favourite Rock acts of the era including Ozzy Osbourne, Guns & Roses Faith No More & Metallica.

Entitled “Huh?” the album was released across Europe in the Spring of 1996 with little fanfare and no promotional tour. We decided to call it a day the following year.

This YouTube video above is that album, albeit remastered and resequenced for you good people on YouTube.

I’d not heard these songs for a number of years before I put this video together but I really enjoyed revisiting the vivid memories the sounds evoke.

None of our music is currently available on streaming platforms, so unless you bought the original album on CD some 30 years ago this is your only way to listen to the sound Strangeworld made together!

Despite our lack of commercial success, I remain incredibly proud of the songs we created and I hope they continue to find an audience for many decades to come.
